Decorative melamine often has a directional woodgrain print. Untick Rotatable for parts that must run the same way so the pattern lines up.
How do I avoid chipping melamine?
That is a blade/technique question, not a layout one — but a scoring blade and the right kerf help. Set your real kerf here so the layout is accurate.
What size melamine sheets are there?
In the US melamine is commonly 49×97 in, slightly over 4×8 so you can trim a clean edge; 4×8 and longer sheets exist too. Metric sheets are 2440×1220 mm. Add whatever you buy.
