What sheet size should I use for plywood?

Most plywood comes as 2440×1220 mm (8×4 ft), though 3050×1525 mm and metric 2500×1250 exist. Enter whatever you actually buy — you can add more than one size and Board Beaver picks the best.

How do I handle plywood grain direction?

Turn off rotation for any part whose face grain must run a certain way; leave it on to let the optimizer rotate parts 90° for a tighter fit.

What kerf should I set for plywood?

A typical table-saw or track-saw blade removes about 3 mm (⅛"). Set your actual blade width so the layout accounts for the material every cut removes.
